What is a domain transfer?
A transfer means changing the domain registrar. Your website and email keep working — only the company managing your domain changes. Your domain's expiry date is extended by 1 year upon transfer.
What you need for a transfer
- EPP/Auth code — a secret domain code. Get it from your current registrar in their client area or via support.
- Domain must have been registered more than 60 days ago
- Domain must have more than 14 days until expiry
- Domain must not be locked (clientTransferProhibited status)
Transfer steps
- Order the transfer in our catalogue — enter the domain and select Transfer Domain
- Enter the EPP code in the corresponding field
- Pay — transfer cost includes 1 year renewal
- Confirm the transfer — the domain owner will receive a confirmation email
- Wait 5-7 days — standard transfer period
Transferring .UA domains
Transfers for .UA, .COM.UA, .NET.UA zones have their own specifics and may take up to 14 days. Contact our support — we'll help with all the details.
Is the transfer free?
Transfer is paid as a 1-year domain renewal. There is no separate fee for the transfer process itself.
